Estb. on - 28th Falgun, 1299 of Bengali era by the Lotus hands of Srila Baisnav Sarbabhauma Srila Jaganath Das Babaji Maharaj.

The Math is located in a village near Burdwan Town at Rajbandh. It was in the year 1299 of Bengali era, when Srila Jaganath Das Babaji was travelling to Sri Dham Nabadwip from Vindaban, he stayed at this place for a period of time. Later on 28th Falgun on the auspicious day of Ekadasi(or Haribasar tithi), the chairman, Sri Satchidananda Bhakti Vinod Thakur established, a society or ashram and named it Prapanna Ashram, a centre where religious-minded men and surrendered souls can get associated and practise devotion.

Srijukta Khetra Nath, who was known as the gatekeeper of Hamhatta (Srimanhatter Dandidat) and the retailer Sri Bipin Bihari Bhaktiratna took the supervising charge to construct the Math.
Later on 20th October, 1968 on the demise day of Srila Narottam Das Thakur, the inauguration of the kitchen and other residing rooms of Sevaks were made by Srimad B.S. Bhagbat Maharaj. Next year on the advent day of Sri Gopal Bhatta Goswamipada (4th Magh), the foundation stone for construction of the temple was laid by the Lotus hands of Srila Gurumaharaj ( Srimad Bhakti Keval Audulomi Maharaj). The temple construction was totally financed by Srijukta Shasthi Narayan Gorai of Assonsal.
Again the temple was renovated and was re- inaugurated in the year 2001 by the lotus hands of Srimad B. S. Paribrajak Maharaj, the present Acharya of the Mission.
